Power Management: When it comes to marquees there
are literally hundreds of products and services, and the
range is growing all the time. Most of these products and
services all have one thing in common, which is that they
rely on electrical power in one way or another. Consequently
effective power management is very often at the root of
a successful corporate event.
Mains Supply
If available, a mains supply can be the favoured source
of electrical power. This is due to the economy factor and
is generally the most reliable.
Where possible we endeavour to "wire-in" to a
permanent supply. However, for large corporate events we
will use a temporary generator supply unless 3-phase power
is available (usually at an industrial/commercial venue).
Generators
'Super-silenced' generators have become standard within
the corporate events industry as they ensure the viability
of events in the remotest of conditions. Sound insulation
prevents the units from detracting from the event itself.
Generators for hire from 5 - 1000 KVA available to you together
with our expert power distribution service. We can also
supply biodiesal generators.
Power Distribution
We always carry out a stringent power check and assessment
previous to any of our corporate events. We plan out electrical
distribution to the finest detail. We take into account
everything on the site that requires power from chandeliers
right through to refrigeration vans. Absolutely nothing
is left to chance!
Daylight have much in house experience and knowledge when
it comes to power management and distribution. 99% of this
work is done in house which means that there is more of
a saving for you.
To ensure successful power distribution we own everything
from 3-phase cabling to reliable and safe RCD protected
distribution boards. When running cables we try to combine
the most effective and the least visible route, and cable
protectors/roadway mats and C-Form watertight plugs ensure
safety around a site.
Technical Persons
We often provide a member of our Technical Event Team to
be present during an event to ensure, amongst other things,
that power supply and distribution is managed and maintained
throughout.
